ABOUT THE SPEAKER

André spent 25 years leading international sales for a large media corporation. When a company takeover made his position redundant three years ago, he briefly considered having a midlife crisis. But then he settled for a more sensible alternative and became a stand-up comedian. He has since performed more than 350 gigs across Germany, in German and English — reciting his own material, but also warming up the room, introducing other acts, and working the crowd as MC. He's not a developer, but after 25 years of asking engineering teams whether it could be done by Friday, he understands your pain better than he should. At code.talks 2026, André hosts the Mainstage for two full days, bringing his unique mix to the job: enough business fluency to make sense of any session, and his energetic stage presence to keep the room engaged. It's the same combination he brings to corporate events, management conferences, and his own keynotes on leadership, teams and change. Worth remembering next time you're planning one of your own.
