TALK
Agentic Coding and AI's collateral damage - a story from a software company
Everyone’s building their software systems with coding agents now - so do we at my company, neuland. Like many others, we use Claude Code, the one that was recently announced will run in one of the world’s most infamous data centres that made headlines for being ultra-polluting and racist.
In this talk you will learn about AI’s collateral damage: What are the things that we don’t see that come embedded into AI and thus into the software we build? And I will share the journey my company has embarked on to find better ways to use AI responsibly - the tools, the principles, the processes. How did we go about it and what did we learn on the way? And what parts of what we did can you copy to make your own use of coding agents more sustainable?
