TALK

Breaking the Loop: Why Agents Never Finish

Agents in a software factory never finish on their own. A review agent finds something in every round, and every fix produces the next finding. Teams merge far more pull requests than before, yet at company level little of it shows up, let alone in revenue. Round limits and token budgets cap the effort, but none of them says what finished means. Only the slow loop to the market can say that.

This talk shows the four points where a human breaks the loop: no idea moves on without an impact hypothesis, the factory builds several options with a price tag each, built is not shipped, and a feature has to earn its place in the market. One worked example runs through all four, down to what it costs in tokens and time, and what a team can change on Monday.
